Saturday, August 10, 2024 is the 73rd Annual Winchester Grange Fair. 9 AM - 3 PM, Winchester Grange Hall, 100 Newfield Road, Winchester Center, CT. Contests are the spotlight for this year. Is your banana bread the talk of the town? Did your garden produce that perfect tomato or squash? There is plenty of time to enter an exhibit at the Fair. Flowers, baking, and fruit and vegetable exhibits will be accepted until 11:00 AM the morning of the fair.

There is a large variety of great food tents throughout the fairgrounds from our famous roast beef sandwiches, slowed cooked chicken, fresh buttery corn, tacos, ice cream, fried dough, BBQ, fried Oreos and many more. All of the food at the Bridgewater Fair is prepared and cooked by our volunteer fireman and EMS members. The Bridgewater Fair is the main source of income for the BVFD. We are the last self-sustaining Fire Department in the State of Connecticut
This family-friendly fair showcases many agricultural fair traditions while highlighting top local music talent and entertainment. The intimate size of the fair makes for easy navigation, parking and crowd control. Visitors will enjoy Carnival rides and games, food concessions, pony rides and entries and exhibits for farm, animal, crafts, fruits, vegetables and more. Participate in the kids games on Saturday! Since 1937 the Hartford County 4-H Fair has been a youth run fair that features many attractions. The 4-H’ers work all year long to plan the fair and prepare their projects to showcase at the fair every year in August. Throughout the weekend there will be livestock shows, children’s activities, and entertainment. Join us for three full days of fun for the whole family!

Come visit the Brooklyn RTC Booth at the Brooklyn Fair on August 22nd to August 25th. Saturday is VIP Day from 2-4 PM, which will feature Anne Dauphinais, Doug Dubitsky, Chris Reddy, Matt Corey, and Mike France. The Brooklyn Fair is an annual agricultural fair, sponsored by the Windham County Agricultural Society. The first fair was held in 1809 in Pomfret, CT.
