Since 1937 the Hartford County 4-H Fair has been a youth run fair that features many attractions. The 4-H’ers work all year long to plan the fair and prepare their projects to showcase at the fair every year in August. Throughout the weekend there will be livestock shows, children’s activities, and entertainment. Join us for three full days of fun for the whole family!

The New Hartford RTC's annual Corn Roast on Thursday, August 29th from 5 – 8 PM at Jerram Winery, 535 Town Hill Road! The Corn Roast is open to EVERYONE and children are absolutely welcome to attend this family fun event. Come visit the Brooklyn RTC Booth at the Brooklyn Fair on August 22nd to August 25th. Saturday is VIP Day from 2-4 PM, which will feature Anne Dauphinais, Doug Dubitsky, Chris Reddy, Matt Corey, and Mike France.   The Brooklyn Fair is an annual agricultural fair, sponsored by the Windham County Agricultural Society. The first fair was held in 1809 in Pomfret, CT. The fair was a success and it was held on a rotating basis between the towns of Brooklyn, Pomfret, and Woodstock. The Cannon Grange Agricultural Fair has been a source of pride to the Cannon Grange and its Cannondale neighbors for many years. On the grounds of, and inside, our historic Grange Hall you will see beautiful displays of horticulture, hand-crafts, small farm animals, photography, eggs, selected concessionaires and much more. Planning and running the fair each year is done by a committee of Grange members and friends.
