The first fair was held in 1809 in Pomfret, CT. The fair was a success and it was held on a rotating basis between the towns of Brooklyn, Pomfret, and Woodstock. The Cannon Grange Agricultural Fair has been a source of pride to the Cannon Grange and its Cannondale neighbors for many years. On the grounds of, and inside, our historic Grange Hall you will see beautiful displays of horticulture, hand-crafts, small farm animals, photography, eggs, selected concessionaires and much more. Planning and running the fair each year is done by a committee of Grange members and friends.

Connecticut's largest agricultural fair, and also one of the oldest, the Woodstock Fair is a four day fair held in South Woodstock, CT. "Always Labor Day Weekend" is our motto and our fair opens at noon the Friday before Labor Day and runs through Labor Day Monday closing at 8pm.
