On Monday, January 10, 2022, the Connecticut Republican Party launched an ad highlighting the ‘leadership’ shown by Connecticut’s Governor, Ned Lamont, in his nearly-two years of unilateral authority – a power he chooses to wield even though he has the partisan backing of the president, the federal and the state delegations.

“This November is on track to be a real reckoning for Governor Lamont and his administration. He doesn’t listen and he refuses to learn while our state continues to suffer. Failed Covid policies and protocols have put the state in the throes of this Covid testing crisis,” said Connecticut Republican Party Chairman Ben Proto. “Connecticut Republicans are standing up for every citizen who has had enough of Lamont’s lack of leadership. This ad is the first in a series that will be taking his constant choosing of politics and profits over people head on.”
