A Third Straight Week of Ridiculous Proposals from CT Dems in Hartford (Even After Lego Leaves)

Dems Move to Silence Parents and Citizens; Give Illegal Immigrants “Right to Housing”, Establish Statewide Rent Control & Housing Authority Jurisdiction

After weeks of crazy, out-of-touch proposals from Democrats at the State Capitol, one might have thought that Lego’s announcement that they would be departing from the State of Connecticut would have served as a wake up call, and that we might be seeing serious legislation with an eye to fixing the declining economic situation in the state… but one would be mistaken. Instead this week brought a new round of Far-Left proposals which do nothing for Connecticut citizens and nothing to fix the real problems our state is facing.

Democrat proposals included, but were not limited to:

“It’s almost as if the Democrats don’t care what message they are sending in Hartford.  They’ve gone to war with parents, with companies, with landlords, with police; the proposals they are putting forward are not constructive, not consensus building; instead these are hyper-partisan left-wing bills put forth by Democrat legislators who seem intent on destroying Connecticut’s economy and driving a stake through the heart of the free enterprise system that build  our great state and country.  They’re not even trying to fix problems, if anything they are trying to create problems.” said State Republican Chairman Ben Proto. “Lego is leaving Connecticut after nearly five decades in Enfield- and judging by their actions, the Democrats in Hartford could care less.  It seems that keeping jobs, and keeping our citizens in Connecticut is just about last on their list of priorities. Pushing forward their radical agenda comes first with the Democrats.”
