In case you missed it, this week Connecticut Democrats flew Vice President Kamala Harris into New Britain to try and save Rep. Jahana Hayes’s failing campaign.

Although touted as a policy trip on abortion in Connecticut, even the Vice President herself admitted the event was political under a thin veil of policy, saying at the event “this is not a political event, but it is a fact that in 34 days there is a mid-term election.”

“All the Vice President really talked about was voting Democrat this year” Said Connecticut Republican Chairman Ben Proto. “Democrats are desperately trying to distract from the fact that George Logan has the reasonable stance on abortion– he’s pro-choice with restrictions on late term abortion, whereas Jahana Hayes is pro-abortion with no restrictions up to the day of birth. They are trying to distract from the fact that inflation is out of control, and that the fault for that lies on Democrats like Kamala Harris, Nancy Pelosi and Jahana Hayes. They are trying to distract from a wide-open Southern Border that Vice President Harris is supposedly in charge of, and the fentanyl streaming into the country as the cartels take advantage of the Biden administration’s weakness. If Vice President Kamala Harris says you should vote Democrat, maybe her Venn Diagrams will show that you should actually vote Republican.”

Proto continued, “it’s worth noting that there were as many protestors as supporters at yesterday’s event, even at a college campus. What was truly unfortunate about the visit was that students at Central Connecticut State University were not provided tickets by the University administration. Kamala Harris and Jahana Hayes failed. not only the students of CCSU, but the people of Connecticut.”
